Brief History Of Sigma Omicron Chapter
The Sigma Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on October 1, 1948 in Tyler, Texas as an outgrowth of the Sigma Sigma Chapter on the Texas College campus. The Founders of the Sigma Omicron Chapter realized the need for a graduate chapter as they were or would be the graduating members and there were more professionals moving to the Tyler area.
